Expected results

Expected results are: 1) created possibilities for communication and transfer of knowledge and experience between fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups; 2) increased capacities of fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups’ members; 3) enhanced political representation and participation of fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups in community life; 4) all relevant institutions, CSOs and stakeholders acquainted with fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups current situation and challenges.

Beneficiary

Final beneficiaries of the project are the citizens – beneficiaries of fragile CSOs, civic society, business sector and local authorities of 8 municipalities of Pirotski and Zaječarski district.

Programme/Project objectives

The overall objective of this project is to enhance the capacities of fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups in South-eastern Serbia and to enable their active participation in community life and decision-making processes. 

First specific objective is to raise capacities of members of fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups through consultations and trainings in several topics which are necessary for further successful management of their activities (PCM/LFA, strategic planning, leadership and human resources management).

The second specific objective is increasing of civic participation and political representation of fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups from 8 municipalities encompassed by the project through holding Awareness Building Meetings and a two-day conference “Situation and perspectives of fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups in South-Eastern Serbia“.

The third specific objective is to enable visibility of fragile CSOs and non-formal marginalized and underrepresented groups, as well as to underline importance of their inclusion into society and decision making processes.
