Expected results
  1. Capacities of Civil Society Organizations devoted to help persons with disabilities in Pomoravski region enhanced
  2. Parents of children and young people with disabilities empowered for implementing organized, systematic and thoroughly planned process of influencing matters of public interest.
  3. Respective community (teachers, parents, classmate etc) sensitized towards children and youth with disabilities and their problems.
  4. Skills and capacities of teachers and students- future social, medical and educational workers strengthened.
  5. Knowledge and experience obtained through seminars and workshops demonstrated - closing event “Games without borders” delivered.
  6. Initiatives for strengthening inclusiveness and pluralism of the society towards persons with disabilities and their families in Pomoravski region properly promoted (handbooks, brochures, leaflets developed).
  7. Project management activities are fulfilled effectively.

Programme/Project objectives

The overall objective of the project is triggering initiatives for strengthening inclusiveness and pluralism of the society towards persons with disabilities and their families in Municipalities of Jagodina, Cuprija and Paracin and adjacent municipalities. 

Specific objectives

  1. Empowering and educating CSOs dealing with persons with disabilities and parents of persons with disabilities on how to implement organized, systematic and thoroughly planned process of influencing matters of public interest.
  2. Strengthening capacities of people who will be working (volunteers, students – future social, medical and educational workers) with persons with disabilities
  3. Educating respective community (teachers, parents, classmates etc) about importance and effects of fighting for and practicing human rights and rights of persons with disabilities.
