The project aims to involve CSOs in policy M&E and to improve the understanding of policy makers, civil servants, and CSOs about the benefits and ways of involving civil society in policy M&E. The project studies evidence of the impact of civil society on the M&E process in the EU and in Serbia. A series of round tables is organized, focusing on improving the quality of the M&E processes through CSO involvement.
The project aims to ensure effective involvement of civil society in policy M&E and to improve awareness and understanding of policy makers, civil servants as well as the CSOs about the benefits and specific ways/tools of involving the civil society in policy M&E. Both the public administration and the civil society will be targeted by the campaign, as improved knowledge and understanding is needed on both sides.
