Expected results
  1. The free-legal aid clinic for children of vulnerable groups and other children will be established in Belgrade
  2. Set of educational and training activities will be organized in order to develop the capacity of local NGOs in Serbia to provide free legal aid
  3. Comprehensive report on crimes committed against the children of vulnerable groups as well as the crimes committed by children in last five years in Serbia would be made
  4. The White Book on the rights of the child in Serbia, focusing on the problems of discrimination of vulnerable groups of children will be published
  5. Public awareness campaign in regards to the problems of discrimination of vulnerable groups of children will be organized

Programme/Project objectives

The project will aim to ensure a comprehensive response to the needs of vulnerable groups of children by organizing a free legal aid service to the members of all discriminated groups of children and their family members inside the network of well-trained civil society organizations; by researching, analysing and reporting on the phenomenon of discrimination of children, and on particular problems related to discrimination of vulnerable groups of children; and by publicly campaigning for the reform of political and legal framework related to the problems of discrimination of children, especially by drafting the White Book on the rights of the child and by producing and broadcasting a documentary film on the same subject-matter.
