Expected results
  1. Nineteen youth trained as trainers on cultural diversity and tolerance transfer their knowledge to Roma, Albanian, Bulgarian and Serb youth
  2. Increased awareness of local authorities and CSOs on the importance of citizens’ participation and representation in decision making process
  3. Conducted intercultural events and interethnic sports events with youth
  4. Cultural diversity, interethnic and inter-religious tolerance and the project promoted through publication of Youth Newsletter with input from all 3 municipalities, dissemination of project promotional material and organisation of the final conference.

Summary of the project

This project targets members of ethnic minorities (Roma, Bulgarians and Albanians) and Serbian youth, in order to support the promotion of cultural diversity and tolerance. Project activities include training of trainers, workshops, round tables, meetings with local authorities, exchange visits and intercultural fairs for youth, aimed at promoting the spirit of interculturality.

Programme/Project objectives

To support promotion of cultural diversity and tolerance between members of national minorities in southern Serbia and strengthen cooperation and trust among young people from different ethnic, religious, social and cultural backgrounds.
