Expected results
  1. Music schools’ students, public figures and ethnic community leaders mobilised to address general public in South Serbia to consume and produce cultural events.
  2. Serbian Jazz Youth Network established
  3. Six joint jazz concerts of music schools students held in six targeted cities in South Serbia
  4. Six TV shows produced and aired on media (as online & radio)
  5. One “behind the scene” TV documentary produced and aired
  6. Music school stage introduced as permanent part of Nišville Jazz Festival

Music schools, jazz professional musicians, local authorities, educational and cultural institutions and CSOs in South Serbia, citizens, especially youth, in targeted cities and the region.

Summary of the project

This project is increasing the intercultural dialogue and promoting tolerance between diverse ethnic communities (Serbian, Albanian, Roma and Bulgarian) by organizing joint youth jazz concerts, bringing together the cultural influences that have contributed to the present cultural identity of South Serbian citizens. The project aims to establish a Serbian Jazz Youth Network, to produce music TV shows, and to become part of the Nishville festival.

Contribution to cultural diversity and tolerance through more effective civic participation in the promotion of intercultural dialogue and regional reconciliation. Promoting intercultural dialogue, tolerance and cultural diversity among youth in South Serbia through joint cultural events.
