Expected results
  1. The action will improve the situation of target groups and final beneficiaries because it will develop formal mechanisms for civil society participation in policy-development. Manual on Measures Against Discrimination in Employment and the Role of CSOs will be created.
  2. Awareness will be raised about destructive impact of discrimination on all grounds in employment
  3. Technical and management capacities of target groups/project partners/local co-applicants will be increased by improving their knowledge and skills and their operating capacity.
  4. The action will improve the situation of target groups/co-applicants by strengthening financial segment of their organisational structure, operating and work.

Summary of the project

The project focuses on introducing measures against discrimination and promoting diversity management policies in employment practices, through the training of trainers who work with social partners to introduce non-discrimination policies into the mechanisms of civil dialogue. The project is working to create thematic publications, surveys, training seminars, an awareness raising campaign and cultural diversity festival.

Programme/Project objectives

The project will introduce measures against discrimination and diversity management policy in employment to the respectful CSOs, and will train the trainers, who will work sustainably with social partners in Serbia to influence non-discrimination policies with mechanism of civil dialogue in employment in future. The project will take place in 6 cities in Serbia, giving a diverse regional distribution: Beograd, Novi Sad, Niš, Kragujevac, Šabac and Valjevo. It consists of the following elements: thematic publications, survey on best practice; training seminars/trainings for trainers, an awareness raising campaign including cultural diversity festival, national conference, national award contest, national roundtable, civic dialogue, etc. This is for the first time that the issue of non-discrimination and diversity management in employment is going to be introduced by systematic approach in Serbia.
